What We Do.
COSA helps afterschool and other out-of-school time programs deliver high-quality programming to the kids and families they serve. From resources on best practices to one-on-one coaching, it is COSA's goal to empower local programs to do more to help children thrive in and out of the classroom.

Consulting
COSA's regional mentors work across Ohio and provide one-on-one support to OST programs that want to do better. By helping set goals, strategize around partnerships, and learning the best ways to document outcomes, our goal is to help OST programs build internal capacity to better serve kids.
Training & Education
COSA provides regional trainings to help educate OST professionals and share best practices in the field. Trainings are hosted regionally in order to maximize accessibility and opportunity to attend.

Resources
OST is a new field of education, and accordingly there is not a lot of information for OST professionals to access to get better at the work they do.
COSA is committed to building an online resource hub that can provide OST programs with access to the most recent reports, studies, best practices, and other resources that can improve the quality of programming being delivered by OST programs.
ODA works in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education to provide these services for all grantees of the state's 21st Century Community Learning Center Program.
From consulting to trainings, we support Ohio's efforts to provide high-quality OST programming to children living in poverty and attending low-performing schools.
